All Community Education classes follow the school calendar. No classes are held when school is closed for a scheduled day off or for inclement weather. No classes are held during conferences (am or pm only days). Please view the master calendar on the school website or the current “Communicator.”
A full refund will be made if:
(1) a class is cancelled because of insufficient enrollment, or
(2) a class fills before your registration is received. To obtain a refund for a class that you wish to cancel, you must contact the office before the class begins or immediately after the first class. All refunds will include a $5.00 handling fee.
To schedule your community group call the Community Education office at 484-7007 to check the Master Calendar for possible dates. Obtain a Building Use Application, complete, and return to the Community Education Office.
WAIT LIST POLICY
Wait List occurs when the class has reached it’s maximum registrations. If multiple classes are available please register your second choice. You may leave your name on the wait list and if a student cancels or another class is added you will be contacted.
SCHOOL CLOSING INFORMATION
When Lincoln Schools are closed due to weather conditions, ALL Community Education programs are cancelled. In addition, scheduled use of the facilities by community organizations is also cancelled.
As a general rule, programs are cancelled if it is absolutely necessary because of inclement weather, mechanical failures, etc. Cancelled classes when possible are rescheduled. Your instructor will notify you if make-up dates are possible. Refunds are not issued.
Parent may sit in the pool area the First and Last class only. This procedure is in place as a safety factor for our students. Chairs will be set up in the hallway for your convenience. All boys 5 and older must dress in the Men's locker room for all swim activities.
